Sertão Side Table

This side table is a reinterpretation of the work “Abaporu” by Tarsila do Amaral, one of the most emblematic works in the history of art in Brazil and a symbol of everything that modernism wanted to say in the country.

As for its shape, it is known that the rounded shape of Abaporu's body is reminiscent of the cactus typical of the Brazilian hinterland, bringing this sensation of movement. In this line, we brought this reference to the piece in its base structure, which also symbolically portrays Brazilianness. Regarding the colors in the composition, the choice was to bring the tones of the work alive and at the same time smooth, uniting a playful soul with fluid and organic lines.

Measurements: 45.0 cm wide. x 30 cm deep. x 50 cm high.
